ACI’s European Clean Ammonia Summit 2026 will be taking place in Cologne on 22–23 April, building directly from two successful editions delivered under the European Green Ammonia Summit name. This evolution reflects how the market has progressed: the platform remains the same trusted meeting place, but the scope has expanded in response to clear industry feedback that blue and low-carbon ammonia pathways are increasingly viewed as the most scalable near-term routes to decarbonisation.
Additional to last year, the summit will address the delivery realities behind deployment: carbon capture and low-carbon ammonia routes, ammonia cracking and synthesis technologies, maritime engine and bunkering readiness, infrastructure and logistics constraints, and the impact of power pricing and construction capacity on project timelines. These themes build on the grounded discussions from 2025, which brought together organisations including Hy2gen, North Ammonia, OCI, EnBW and Engie.
The summit convenes senior stakeholders from across the value chain—developers and producers, energy and hydrogen suppliers, fertiliser producers, ship owners and engine manufacturers, ports and infrastructure operators, technology providers, policymakers and investors—to share experience, compare approaches, and contribute to a pragmatic exchange on what is required to scale clean ammonia in Europe.
Those involved in shaping, financing, regulating, or deploying clean ammonia are invited to join the discussion in Cologne at ACI’s European Clean Ammonia Summit and contribute to a grounded exchange on where the sector is heading and what is required to move projects forward.
