We are looking for a Renewable Energy Procurement Manager to unlock new Renewable Energy opportunities and negotiate and execute power supply contracts to deliver low-cost Renewable Energy supply to our large scale electrolyzer and steel plant. You will be a critical part of our journey to cut CO2 emissions down to zero in steel manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
- Create innovative solutions in procuring large volumes of Renewable Energy
- Develop and execute a comprehensive power procurement strategy
- Lead investment activities into Renewable Energy assets through origination, structuring, project and financial diligence
- Develop and execute power purchase agreements and contracts to deliver low-cost Renewable Energy
- Analyze and identify trends and regulations in Renewable Energy that can benefit H2 Green Steel and its power procurement
- Build and manage a team of analysts
Requirements:
- At least 10+ years of experience working in the energy, infrastructure and/or finance industries
- Proven experience in negotiating PPAs (preferably wind), structured energy transactions and complex contract negotiations
- Deep understanding of the links between PPAs, investment models and project finance documentation
- Deep experience in the Swedish and/or Nordic power markets
- Proven track record for cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, senior executives and stakeholders
- Fluent written and communication skills in English (Scandinavian language is a plus)
- Excellent analytical skills and comfort with financial modeling
- A passion for Renewable Energy and a drive to have real impact in a traditional industry
