Enel X, part of the Enel Group company and a leading provider of demand response, energy procurement and energy management solutions, has an immediate need for a Partner Manager, e-Mobility, to join our world-class sales organization. The Partner Manager will be working for one of the most exciting & innovative companies in e-Mobility, smart grid infrastructure & digitalization.

This role requires a confident and professional self-starter, determined in finding and closing business, focused on meeting the customer’s needs, and able to efficiently work in collaboration with a team of sales and technical managers in a rapidly growing business. The Partner Manager will be focused on assess new partnership opportunities, maintain relationships with strategic partners, and generating sales. Proven success prospecting and navigating complex sales and generating proposals is critical as the focus of the role is driving profitable, sustainable growth in Germany.

The successful candidate should have an extensive background in complex solution selling (both direct and channel sales), sales management as well as a background in one of the areas: Utilities, EVSE technology and hardware providers, solar industry executives, automotive industry and IT/Telco.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets in Germany;
  • Develop a partner network in the assigned territory trough growing existing partners and recruit new ones;
  • Maintaining and deepening relationships with existing partners;
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations;
  • Understand industry-specific landscapes and EV trends;
  • Value-driven sales execution (identification, development, and closure all relevant end-user sales) for Enel X partners in accordance with ambitious growth targets in both hardware and service revenues;
  • Contributing to channel strategy development, planning, forecasting and execution;
  • Support in improving sales processes and workflows. Ensure process is adhered to and outstanding sales execution;
  • Ensure partner sales programs deployed, kept on track and are measured based on operational effectiveness using sales management tools;
  • Create an environment that promotes great performance and positive morale;
  • Co-operate with other sales representatives in Germany with a focus on short and medium-term transactional sales;
  • Work with senior stakeholders;
  • Contribute to the smooth day-to-day operation of the company.

Required Experience/Qualifications:

  • A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, consultative services-led sales engagements and multi-party negotiations with partners and clients in EV/Automotive/Energy sectors/IT;
  • Excellent knowledge of markets relevant to product/services portfolio, including e-Mobility and the positioning of Enel X and competition;
  • Experience of having developed and executed business strategies to substantially increase assigned territory growth and revenues;
  • Successful proven track record of leading, negotiating, influencing and closing within the sales cycle including negotiations skills balanced between client requirements and business case requirements;
  • Hunter/Closer mentality;
  • Ability to both manage existing accounts as well as build and close new relationships with strategic accounts;
  • Impeccable communication & coaching skills;
  • Manage large workloads and prioritise value creation;
  • Ability to travel nationally and in the region;
  • 5-7 years energy market or energy technology sales experience /12-15 years sales experience;
  • BS Required; Master’s degree in Engineer/Energy/Power Related Field is a plus;
  • Must be eligible to work in Germany.

Language requirements:

  • Native in German & fluent English. Any additional languages would be a plus.
