We are looking for a technically experienced person with a real can-do attitude and flexibility to travel. You will primarily work from our office in either Hamburg or Norddeich, Germany.

Semco Maritime is looking for an experienced sales manager for the German and international offshore service market. Your role will be to cover the daily sales and opportunity management to fulfil our ambition to be our clients’ FIRST CHOICE for Safe Solutions.

Key responsibilities and tasks

  • Responsible for German sales and increasing our German presence, primarily within Service;
  • Represent Semco Maritime getting the market and clients to understand that Semco Maritime has a wide ranged portfolio for the wind sector - besides building and maintaining substations;
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders throughout Germany. Using your sales tools, you will build a diverse pipeline of both new and existing customers;
  • Building effective relationships and developing a good understanding of your customer’s value drivers, you will maximise the customer experience and maintain loyalty;
  • Generate bid opportunities with new and existing clients in the wind sector;
  • Undertake industry and competitor research and be present at industry events and exhibitions;
  • Be an inspiring team member for the entire sales and tender organisation;
  • Actively increase turnover;
  • Provide commercial and technical input into tenders and assist in setting commercial costs for the region.

Who we are looking for a new colleague with extensive experience in the business area and who knows the key operators in the market. You hold +5 years of successful sales experience. The ideal candidate should have the following qualities and skills:

  • You have a technical and commercial background combined with experience from the offshore wind sector;
  • You have contractual and legal experience;
  • You have experience from service sales;
  • You have an extensive wind energy network;
  • You are proactive and persistent in reaching the best solutions.
