KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
- Supporting the sales teams with technical questions related to projects, standards, offsetting and insetting
- Competence training for new and existing sales managers on topics relevant to them (eg. insetting, offsetting, carbon standards, regulations, carbon market)
- Monitoring carbon market developments and communicating these internally
- Supporting the Portfolio Management team with questions related to projects, standards, offsetting and insetting
- Administration related to project development and related sourcing activities
- Organization and coordination of Due Diligence for risk mitigation
- KYC (KYS) for suppliers
- Supporting the Consulting Team with questions related to CDP, SBTi, NetZero.
- Organization and implementation of workshops and webinars
- Project planning and project management
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
- University degree in Environmental Sciences, Economics, Sustainability Management or other carbon related fields
- Experience in the field of carbon markets, environmental project assessment or equivalent
- Deep understanding of the voluntary carbon markets
- Experience in engaging with external stakeholders and networking activities
- Self-motivated and engaged for the mitigation of the climate crisis
- Excellent command of German and English
- Proficient in Microsoft Office environment, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint
