Development of wind and solar pipeline in the UK and RoI through partnerships and greenfield sites;
Find and secure development partnerships through negotiation;
Creating detailed assessments to showcase examination and interpretation of environmental policy risks;
Manage the full project process and lifecycle of solar PV and wind;
Managing and liaising with external consultants and have experience managing the full consultation process including preparation and attendance of pre-application council meetings;
Conveying the relevant planning processes in each UK jurisdiction and how cost, time and policy factors influence projects commercially or economically;
Ability to understand planning processes across the whole UK;
Be an active member in the growth of the renewables team locally and across the EU.
Your profile:
Degree (BSc and Masters) in relevant environmental, business or planning discipline;
Previous experience within utility scale onshore wind or solar Projects;
Experience in delivering new development leads in the UK and RoI;
Have notable experience preparing and submitting planning applications and lawful development certificates for renewable energy projects;
Can demonstrate experience in delivering planning approvals within the UK and RoI as well as NSIP/DSO processes;
Experience in managing consultants and external suppliers;
Experience using GIS as well as third party/statutory sources of spatial, environmental, and planning information to inform decisions;
Excellent communication skills in an international environment;
