Key person for internal and external stakeholders in the renewable energy run-time management in a wide range of topics, e.g. asset valuations, performance management, financing structures, digitalization initiatives, external reporting etc.
Ownership of integrated financial models in the modeling language FAST Standard at the levels of assets as well as conducting in-dept analysis (profitability, sensitivity, etc.) and stress-tests for investments in the field of renewable energies
Collaboration with fund management teams on growth strategy, capital calls and fund performance analysis
Evaluation of new projects in the acquisition / due diligence phase by forming an asset management opinion for the run-time of the asset incl. preparation of internal and external documents (decision templates, business cases and financial analysis)
Participation in client meetings with existing and new investors
Preparation and review of asset-specific investor reporting and annual financial statements of operational companies
Monitoring of asset management data and implementing new tools e.g. QBI, PowerBI, salesforce, etc.
Your qualifications
Completed degree in business administration, ideally with a focus on corporate finance, economics or engineering
Solid knowledge of best practices in financial modeling and continuing education in this area, desirably in the FAST Standard modeling language
2-3 years of professional experience in the field of financial modeling, acquired e.g. at a consultancy, M&A boutique, corporate finance, or fund or investment management company
Experience in the energy or renewable energy industry, specific background knowledge in hydro power would be a plus
Independent and pro-active work attitude
Strong analytical skills and a very good understanding of numbers as well as profound communication skills
Precise and reliable working method coupled with high autonomy, implementation strength and flexibility
Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel. PowerPoint and VBA skills are an advantage
Fluent in English. Sound grasp of written and spoken German. strong command of any other foreign language (Norwegian, Portuguese, Turkish, Spanish) is an advantage
