Welcome to the Environmental team

As our new Environmental Advisor you will be part of a small, growing team, who works in the exciting intersection between environment and the green transition. We handle a variety of environmental questions related to European Energy’s PV, and wind projects onshore and offshore. The activities regarding Power-to-X are increasing and knowledge on industrial environment are requested. We are involved from the early environmental screening of green fields to the environmental permitting. Furthermore, we are involved in strategic activities such as formulating environmental policies and develop principles for biodiversity and other environmental issues on a corporate level.

We are looking for a new colleague who can advise on the early environmental screening of our projects to the environmental permitting process. Further, you will play an important role in optimization of our activities in relation to environment and nature improvement.

Your responsibilities

  • Advice and support to internal project development teams on environmental issues from the initial screening of green fields to impact assessments for European Energy’s projects globally
  • Contact to different stakeholders such as authorities and external consultants
  • Review on various project related environmental documents for example environmental impact assessment
  • Contribute to activities regarding cooperate environmental initiatives in relation to ESG and QHSE.
  • Deliver environmental advice and guidance at all levels of our projects to minimise environmental permitting risk to the company

Your profile

  • You have an educational background within environmental science, environmental engineering, or equivalent (at least 5 years of education)
  • You have 6+ years of relevant experience in project management of environmental impact assessments, and knowledge in relation to energy projects
  • You have knowledge of Danish and EU environmental- and planning legislation
  • You have good communication skills and are able to explain highly technical information on a non-technical level
  • You are full proficient in Danish and English, oral and written
