As a new part of the Investment Team, the Development Portfolio team will focus on the economical guidanc of the renewables development project portfolios, the commercial day to day project management as well as the coordination and internal as well as external stakeholder management.
Your responsibilities
- Participating in regular meetings with the external development partners and taking the lead for handling and negotiation of commercial aspects involved;
- Provide support in the origination, execution and operation of portfolio Construction Financing facilities for the portfolio projects;
- Support the internal analyses of potential financing solutions for the portfolio projects, taking into account different scenarios and capital instruments;
- Track and monitor development/construction portfolio, including capital deployed, interest costs, loan covenants;
- Work with internal stakeholders to determine, manage, track and report portfolio liquidity requirements and drawdown needs and timings for construction financing of portfolio projects;
- Participate in preparation and ensure quality of monthly and quarterly portfolio and project reports to internal stakeholders as well as to financing institutions;
- Coordinate closely with Investment Team for addition of new projects to the portfolio following acquisitions;
- Close cooperation and dialogue with internal stakeholders (Investment Management, Asset Management, Risk Management, etc.) to ensure transparency and availability of portfolio information to stakeholders;
- Ensure transparency about the cost development of the individual projects from acquisition to operational phase (cost break down, value analysis etc.).
Your qualifications
- Business Degree with a Finance and/or Accounting major;
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a banking, big 4 or corporate finance environment, ideally with experience in Photovoltaic/Solar, onshore wind or similiar renewbales, or infrastructure investments and financing;
- Good knowledge of financial and cash flow models as well as common ratios and KPIs used for project assessments by investors and financing banks in the sector;
- Understanding of construction stage projects and management experience with construction projects and respective financing is an advantage;
- Proven analytical skills and a very good understanding of numbers;
- Experienced user of Power BI, SQL, VBA and Excel;
- An efficient communicator with good project and stakeholder management skills and ability to coordinate and work well with different functions and levels;
- Ability to multi-task and work in an ever-changing environment;
- Fluency in English is pre-requisite, fluency in Italian, Greek or other European languages are of preference.
