K2 Management is currently looking for a new, highly commercial, and experienced Sales Director with country management responsibility for the UK and Irish market to develop existing customer relationships and creatively grow new business opportunities within renewable projects in the United Kingdom. You will be based at our office in either Bristol (UK) or Glasgow (Scotland) and report to our CEO in Denmark.

Areas of responsibility

As Sales Director & Country Responsible, UK & Ireland you will have full responsibility business development and sales to expand the K2 Management sales activities and consultancy footprint within the renewable industry in the region. Business development focused on securing large project management and engineering assignments to the K2 Management organization will be a crucial part of your daily work.

  • Further developing K2 Management´s business activities in the region – this includes effectively cultivating and further expanding the client portfolio;
  • Innovative sales activities ;
  • Client counselling and support;
  • Effectively contributing to the continuous development and growth of the company ;
  • Act as the Managing Director of the UK legal entity for K2 Management;
  • Cooperating with colleagues in other countries as services and solutions are sourced from various locations within the organization – securing the clients with the optimal solution .

 Qualifications

  • You hold a relevant educational degree (e.g., within Business Administration or Engineering) combined with 10+ years of relevant professional business and project development experience within the renewable industry combined with profound management experience from a global company;
  • Proven track record within sales;
  • Offshore wind knowledge and experience is a must;
  • Profound consultancy understanding and experience is a prerequisite to effectively fulfil this role;
  • Besides your broad technological skills, you have a deep commercial understanding of the renewable energy market;
  • As a person you are client and people oriented always aiming at delivering high quality and optimum support;
  • You are cooperative and flexible always keeping in mind what is best for the company as a whole;
  • Diplomatic skills and honesty are requirements in a multi-cultural organisation with high ethical standards;
  • You possess solid communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
