Responsibilities

We are very interested in hearing from all candidates who have the following experience:

• Manage sustainability projects from concept to handover stage
• Undertake LEED, BREEAM, WELL and/or BCA Greenmark assessments across commercial & industrial schemes
• Advise on NZEB, Low/Net Zero Carbon/Energy Building design strategies
• Undertake Climate risk assessment, Building life-cycle assessment & Sustainability master planning
• Understand and apply current and proposed Sustainability related legislation (Building and Planning regulations)
• Innovating and assessing design solutions at the earliest stage of the design process with a keen eye on decarbonisation, low energy, renewable techniques and sustainable alternative fuels
• Knowledge of Life Cycle Assessment methodologies and low carbon building materials.
• Develop and manage client relationships (Internally and Externally)
• Prepare technical reports

Qualifications

• A Minimum Qualification of Bachelor’s Degree (Level 8 NQF) in
• Architecture/Engineering/Environmental/Sustainability or related subject
• Qualifications in the following; LEED AP BD&C/ID+C and/or BREEAM AP.
• At least 5 years’ experience as a sustainability/energy consultant or related position
• Excellent knowledge of sustainable design practices and international experience desirable
• A proven history of innovative approaches to low energy design and/or management excellence
• Project management skills
• Clear and confident verbal & written communication skills
• Proven track record of working on your own initiative
