Understand and apply current and proposed Sustainability related legislation (Building and Planning regulations)
Innovating and assessing design solutions at the earliest stage of the design process with a keen eye on decarbonisation, low energy, renewable techniques and sustainable alternative fuels
Knowledge of Life Cycle Assessment methodologies and low carbon building materials.
Develop and manage client relationships (Internally and Externally)
Prepare technical reports
Qualifications
A Minimum Qualification of Bachelor’s Degree (Level 8 NQF) in
Architecture/Engineering/Environmental/Sustainability or related subject
Qualifications in the following; LEED AP BD&C/ID+C and/or BREEAM AP.
At least 5 years’ experience as a sustainability/energy consultant or related position
Excellent knowledge of sustainable design practices and international experience desirable
A proven history of innovative approaches to low energy design and/or management excellence
Project management skills
Clear and confident verbal & written communication skills
Proven track record of working on your own initiative
