You will support the Technology and Engineering Lead in ensuring that overall project requirements are met and that the foundations scope is delivered safely and in compliance with applicable quality, program and budget project requirements;
You lead foundations design activities and liaise with fabrication and transportation and installation contractors, certifiers, marine warranty surveyors and owners engineers;
You support the Technology and Engineering Lead in the management of offshore surveys and in ensuring alignment with foundations design requirements;
You provide support in procuring technical services for the foundations scope. Prepare the scope of work for contractors or service providers to satisfy engineering and procurement strategies including technical scope descriptions, resource requirements, budget and schedule for completion;
You review technical reports submitted by contractors, consultants or other service providers;
You will liaise with the Q ENERGY’s local project management team, development team, commercial team, HSE team, corporate finance team etc. to resolve related engineering issues;
You identify project risks, barriers, and issues and propose possible solutions and mitigation strategies.
You contribute to our success if
You have at least a bachelor’s degree in civil, structural or mechanical engineering, or naval architecture;
You are a degree qualified engineer with minimum 10 years of experience working as a member of structural engineering team for steel structures and/or floating structure design and/or as engineering consultant on offshore windfarm projects;
You have extensive knowledge of offshore structures technology. Experience in offshore wind foundations is desirable, including understanding of codes and standards applicable for design and construction, as well as of the integrated load analysis process between designer and WTG supplier.
