Purpose of the position:

The position exists due to the need of managing the transformation of energy streams in the MOL Group. The expert, supervises the integration of new energy streams into MOL’s affected organizations, organizes workshops, settings agendas, manages the action plans and reports to the RES&EE manager. The expert will be part of the energy transformation and will be responsible for managing of renewable energy, low carbon energy and energy storage related projects.

Main responsibilities:

  • Coordinating the work of MOL Group organizations which affected by the energy transformation to renewable energy, low carbon energy and energy storage solutions;
  • Organizing workshops, setting agendas and managing the action plans for the realization of the transformation;
  • Creating decision making materials about renewable energy, low carbon energy and energy storage project evaluations and their status;
  • Supporting the optimization of renewable energy based, low carbon energy based and energy storage assets’ development and operation;
  • Leading the process of mapping energy related and flexibility potentials in the utility systems of MOL Group’s production units;
  • Managing the identification of synergies between maintenance practices of conventional assets and new renewable and low carbon energy assets;
  • Acting as a primary contact in the assessment of alternative energies’ utilization;
  • Being on top of state-of-the art renewable energy, low carbon energy and energy storage solutions ranging from PV, wind turbine, cogeneration, battery and production scheduling;
  • Taking responsibility in managing renewable energy, low carbon energy and energy storage related projects;
  • Participating in the preparation of MOL Group’s Renewable Energy Strategy.

Education, skills, experience:

  • University degree in Engineering or Economics;
  • Preferably 5+ year full-time professional experience in energy related position;
  • Project management experience in the Energy sector;
  • In-depth technical knowledge of power generation, energy market, and project management;
  • Fluent Hungarian and Business English;
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
