We are looking for a highly motivated Corporate Sales Trader to Join our Carbon trading desk in Brussels.
Language skills: Native German, good command of English.
The EU Emissions Trading System (ETS) is a cornerstone of the EU's policy to combat climate change and its key tool for reducing greenhouse gas emissions cost-effectively. It is the world's first major carbon market and remains the biggest one.
The EU ETS works on the principle of 'cap and trade.' A cap is set on the total amount of certain greenhouse gases that can be emitted by installations covered by the system. The trading of these allowances and credits is intended to provide financial incentives emission reductions.

This role reports into the Head of DACH and is responsible for developing a portfolio of large client accounts to trade with and build strong long-term relationships. As a corporate sales trader, you'll be part of our front-office workforce, advising clients on their net zero journey, and trading carbon allowances on their behalf. For this specific position, we are looking for a candidate with great passion for trading, and a strong commercial mindset. You will assist big events, conduct webinars, and conferences, visit clients on a regular basis, and become an expert in the carbon industry.
