Senior Engineer in Advanced and Sustainable Technologies

We are looking for a Senior Engineer in Advanced & Sustainable Technologies, who will investigate innovative technological and business solutions aligned with our strategy, drive the development of a comprehensive knowledge base and business cases for the implementation of our sustainable projects.

Main responsibilities:

• Managing Advanced and Sustainable Technologies development projects, exploring and developing the technical scope of biofuel, biogas, and green hydrogen projects;
• Creating and maintaining a strong network of internal and external stakeholders, including TSOs, DSOs, feedstock providers, technology providers, and plant operators;
• Monitoring technology developments and sustainability trends, translating them into ideas and projects with viable business cases;
• Supporting the professional development of colleagues in Advanced & Sustainable Technologies, covering existing and emerging technological trends;
• Identifying and investigating the effects of the external environment on existing and future operations from a technological perspective;
• Providing strong support to the Manager and Team Lead on professional topics.

Requirements:

• Msc in Chemical or Energy Engineering;
• 5+ years’ of professional experience in Energy Industry (renewables, biofuels, biogas, green hydrogen, oil and gas, etc.);
• Advanced English knowledge (written and spoken);
• Solid knowledge in MS Office;
• Category B driver’s licence.
