Your tasks

• Monitor green gas and power regulations, market rules, and incentive schemes to assess business opportunities and impacts;
• Price green gases, power services, asset flexibility, and purchase & sales contracts considering product specifics and market regulations;
• Constantly monitor and analyze green gas and power market trends and recommend position management activities;
• Support risk management of contracted positions (e.g., PPAs, BESS capacity, Demand Response) by steering Supply, Sales, and Trading channels;
• Advise on regulatory requirements and processes during negotiations and contracting of green gas and power positions (e.g., certification and sustainability proof);
• Contribute to the development and testing of IT functionalities for forecasting, pricing, reporting, and automated trading;
• Identify, structure and deliver optimization and process improvement initiatives in cooperation with other Front-Office departments;
• Review defined KPIs (e.g.: p/l, imbalance volumes and costs, etc.) and enhance pricing tools, models, and balancing strategies;
• Collaborate on cross-unit projects to develop and implement green gas and power initiatives.

Your profile

• Master Degree/Diploma in Business, Finance or Technical with at least 5 years of professional experience;
• Experience in energy trading, ideally power or gas; trading certifications are a plus;
• Understanding of EU-wide and/or Austrian green gas and power markets, with insights into energy market trends;
• Strong analytical skills as well as excellent communication partnership-building skills;
• Stress-resilient, strong decision making skills and focused on delivering results;
• Fluent in English, German is a plus.
