Your tasks:

• You commercially build up and optimize E.ON’s group asset portfolio;
• You develop, communicate and implement on a regular basis, asset strategies for E.ON’s exposures, to manage and optimize the commodity risk within E.ON’s group portfolio;
• You partner with E.ON’s Regional Portfolio and Retail Management functions to build up the Center of Expertise for Assets and Risk Management of Groups risks;
• You coordinate and drive analysis of the price and fundamental development of the global commodity markets, to assess possible future movements of price levels and spreads in the European power, gas and carbon markets;
• You closely cooperate with Trading & Origination functions on commercial strategies, provision of liquidity, and development of commercial strategies for new businesses and new products;
• You provide commercial strategies for assets or structured transactions and optimize them centrally or to support management of illiquid risk in E.ON’s regional portfolios;
• You support the build and further maturity of a large, international energy customer portfolio as part of E.ON's transformation program.

Your profile:

• Successfully completed university degree or comparable qualification;
• Proven experience for a minimum of 5 years in the European energy trading markets in either a commercial, analytical, or consulting role(s);
• Experience in portfolio or asset optimization and advanced portfolio strategies;
• Strong commercial mindset, which you combine with an analytical and structured way of thinking and strong motivation to deliver commercial results;
• Excellent communication skills in combination with assertiveness and engagement;
• Joy to work both within a highly motivated team and independently combined with taking on own responsibility;
• Embracing opportunities to learn and develop yourself;
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English, another European language is seen as a plus.
