In this role, you will work in Product & Engineering Solutions where you will join the relatively newly established Project Management Office, alongside 10-12 highly skilled Project Managers. You will be responsible for developing new world-class products within our product group High Power Components (Wind converter, Power-to-X electrolyser power supply).

Responsibilities

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

As the Senior Project Manager, you will get the end-to-end responsibility for your own projects. You will lead the projects towards development to release of new products with KKWS own IP. As pioneers within wind power, KKWS is committed to developing groundbreaking and competitive products within green technology.

You will work with colleagues who are highly specialized with degrees at master’s and PhD level. Thus, you will experience an ongoing exchange of ideas and also ensure that you balance time, scope and cost to stay at the forefront of wind turbine development projects.

Key Tasks:

• Leading project teams by effectively managing resources, schedules, timelines, costs, and quality standards;
• Collaborating closely with product management to specify the requirements of the project;
• Responsible for the day-to-day project activities in collaboration with a technical lead;
• Reporting project status and issues to the steering committee as needed;
• Collaborating with technical leads to ensure the technical deliverables are completed efficiently;
• Coach, manage and motivate the team members, and nurture a sustainable and eager innovation culture;
• Meet the KPIs for each project.

Our requirements

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager who preferably have experience from a similar role in a global company. In order to succeed in this job, it is important you have experience in motivating highly specialized project team members, experience in working across an entire organization and is capable of staying on top of project plans and spot risks as well as opportunities that drive the project forward.

With a strong drive and great communication skills, you are ready to drive and present project statuses to your customer and management to make sure we are all on the same page.

Moreover, you:

• Bring 5+ years of experience with and a proven track record of leading technology projects – more specifically new product development within renewable energy;
• Have as a minimum bachelor’s degree within engineering – maybe within power electronics;
• Bring excellent stakeholder management skills;
• Can support and train development of other project managers and help build the pipeline of further project managers within Product & Engineering Solutions to support our strategy in building an even stronger project culture;
• Have the flexibility to travel around 10 days a year to visit our production sites in Poland and India;
• Support our development journey within Project Execution model and CMMI Level;
• Speak and write English effortlessly.
