- Sales Management: Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team as well as monitor sales targets, projects, and opportunities to ensure high performance and professional development;
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and market expansion;
- Sales Forecasting: Implement sales forecasting and pipeline management processes to accurately predict revenue, monitor performance, and prepare and deliver detailed short-term and long-term budgets and forecasts;
- Market Execution: Execute the market strategy in accordance with the regional business line manager and head of sales, translating the strategy into defined sales actions to continuously increase market share;
- Marketing Initiatives: Execute marketing activities in cooperation with the regions, including a marketing communication plan;
- Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders and support in key negotiations with customers;
- Cross-divisional Cooperation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives;
- Competitive Analysis: Monitor and assess competitor activities, market trends, and industry developments, analyze these factors to identify opportunities and risks, and adjust sales strategies accordingly;
- Representation: Represent ELANTAS at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote brand awareness and generate leads;
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with sales policies, procedures, and regulations.
Requirements
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in business engineering, engineering, or chemistry (MBA preferred);
- Industry Experience: 10+ years in sales management within a global environment, preferably in the automotive industry;
- Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate a high-performing sales team in a matrix structure;
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other business systems;
- Cultural Competence: Proven experience working with diverse cultures and excellent communication skills in English;
- Personal Attributes: Driven, self-motivated, entrepreneurial spirit, flexible, proactive, and culturally sensitive;
- Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
