Your responsibilities

  • Originate co-development partnerships to develop and/or acquire utility-scale solar projects in Germany;
  • Establish and manage business relationships with project developers and both internal and external stakeholders related to the projects;
  • Liaise closely with existing Uniper enabling functions such as asset commercialization, tax/accounting, trading/PPAs, financial modelling, EPC, project development, contract management, and others;
  • Evaluate technical, commercial, and especially permitting-related risks of projects during the acquisition phase of large-scale PV projects;
  • Prepare presentations to facilitate management decisions;
  • Report to the Head of Partnerships and Portfolio acquisitions - Solar DACH & BeNeLux.

Your profile

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in PV project development in Germany;
  • Master's or Diploma degree in economics, engineering, urban planning, or renewable energy technologies (especially solar and wind) or a related field;
  • Proven track record in the development, acquisition, and/or co-development of utility-scale solar projects;
  • Deep understanding of market dynamics, particularly within the German energy and renewable energy sector;
  • Strong communication skills and a high-level of assertiveness in an international environment, with the ability to build effective relationships across all organizational levels;
  • Eagerness to contribute to a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and positive workplace culture;
  • Willingness to travel for industry events and networking opportunities;
  • Fluent in German and English. Additional languages are an asset.
