Job description
AFS Energy is expanding! We are on the hunt for a skilled communicator fluently German with a drive for sales, ready to support one of our Environmental Commodities desks and create lasting relationships with existing and new clients.
Responsibilities of a Sales Trader
- Call, call, and call - (cold) calling is 90% of the job;
- Build and maintain your own portfolio of clients;
- Talk to people all day — build relationships, pitch deals, and close;
- Close deals;
- Driving cross-selling opportunities: at AFS, we offer a range of renewable products that can be tailored to meet each client’s specific needs;
- Oversee the post-deal process, including client onboarding, contract completion, and ensuring accurate CRM updates;
- Keep grinding until the deal is done. Then start again.
What you will be doing
- You’ll be responsible for managing a client portfolio, which includes understanding their needs and develop relations with them;
- You are going to research market trends and keep track of the rules and regulations;
- Developing strategies to improve performance: You boost client satisfaction and meet sales targets;
- Executing trades where you are responsible for execution on behalf of clients, following established trading protocols and procedures;
- Maintaining existing relationships while creating your own portfolio with new clients and stakeholders.
Job requirements
What you will bring along
- Bachelor’s degree or higher;
- You are fluent in German and English;

- You are structured and have an eye for detail;
