Strategy & Market Intelligence Analyst

In this role, you will support product line strategy development, drive early-phase business analysis, monitor evolving industry trends, and manage our market intelligence platform to ensure timely delivery of insights that empower data-driven ecisions.
Your key responsibilities:
- Develop product line strategies and contribute to the long-term strategic direction of MOL Group’s Chemicals business.
- Identify, assess, and prioritize new business opportunities within the Chemicals division, providing clear market rationale and ensuring strategic fit with overall corporate objectives.
- Coordinate business analysis activities for early-phase strategic projects, including comprehensive secondary market research, competitor benchmarking, and due diligence to support informed decision-making.
- Support the structuring and development of business cases, clarifying interdependencies with other business development initiatives to enable cohesive and aligned execution.
- Conduct in-depth market research and deliver actionable intelligence by analyzing industry dynamics, consumer behavior, application trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to support forward-looking strategic decisions.
- Operate and maintain the Chemicals Market Intelligence platform, ensuring the timely publication and sharing of relevant market news, reports, and insights that foster proactive planning and enhance internal knowledge-sharing across teams.
Our expectations:
- BSc/MSc degree in economics/business management/engineering,
- 3+ years relevant professional experience,
- Excellent communication and analytical skills,
- Strong strategic management and problem-solving capabilities, basic leadership skills,
- Knowledge of the downstream/chemicals value chain is an advantage,
- Fluency in English languages,
- Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
