What you will do:
- Build and maintain forward curves across multiple tenors for gas and LNG markets, capturing volatility and regional spreads in real time;
- Design and deploy quantitative models to assess complex market risks and accurately value LNG cargoes, pipeline flows, and hub-based trading;
- Track market-moving developments and translate geopolitical tensions, infrastructure changes, and regulatory shifts into actionable risk insights;
- Quantify the impact of renewable energy trends on gas demand and develop robust mitigation strategies;
- Deliver high-impact analysis and strategic recommendations to support investment decisions in LNG infrastructure and trading strategies;
- Collaborate across trading, origination, and strategy teams to align on market assumptions and portfolio positioning.
What you bring & who you are:
- Advanced degree in Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or related field;
- 3-5 years of experience in energy markets with strong focus on gas and LNG;
- Experience in quantitative risk analysis, ideally in gas and LNG markets;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret complex data;
- Programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages;
- Ideally, familiarity with statistical software and risk management tools, plus fluent English and additional languages.
