In this role, you will lead the life cycle management with a focus on new product design, accurate deal representation and implementation. You will ensure a structured and comprehensive product offering across Alpiq’s value chains through streamlined and effective processes.

Your main responsibilities

• Oversee the full product lifecycle, including product design, approval, and phase-out processes
• Collaborate with Front Office teams across Europe (Trading, Origination, etc.) on new product and market initiatives, evaluating risk–reward profiles
• Align with Risk, Middle/Back Office, and IT teams to identify process gaps and implement efficient solutions
• Lead and continuously enhance the new product approval process
• Maintain clear, accurate, and up-to-date product documentation

Your profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
• 5+ years of experience in the energy industry, ideally in new product management, Sales & Origination, Trading, or Risk
• Strong knowledge of energy structured products
• Very good analytical skills, attention to detail, and an organized approach
• Proven experience managing stakeholders across functions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Fluent in English; knowledge of German, French, or Italian is an advantage
