Your responsibilities

• You will manage your individual trading portfolios and run proprietary trading strategies across power, gas and carbon;
• Interact closely with analysts to develop successful trading strategies and trading ideas;
• Actively participate in developing forecasting models;
• Manage a close relation to your colleagues working in the risk functions.

Your profile

• At least 5 years of experience in trading the Continental power markets as well as trading other commodities;
• A proven track record of at least 5 years of profitable active proprietary trading;
• Trading experience in French, Spanish or Italian power markets favourable, including but not limited to Carbon and Gas;
• Experience from being employed in international trading houses, banks or major utilities with a focus on news driven trading activities;
• Detailed knowledge about the fundamental specifications of the German and surrounding power markets;
• Relevant economic or finance degree or similar qualification;
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight timing deadlines;
• Be a team player;
• Fluency in English.
