The Senior Expert, Energy Solutions is responsible for the development, management, and implementation of advanced technological and infrastructure solutions in the fields of renewable energy, energy efficiency, and smart grids. This role ensures the successful execution of energy projects - on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety and quality standards. The position also involves leadership and coordination of Site Managers and technical teams to achieve optimal project delivery.
As a Senior Expert, Energy Solutions, you will be responsible for:
- Develop and execute strategies for renewable energy projects, energy efficiency improvements, and energy consumption optimization;
- Advise clients and partners on energy opportunities, including financing options, technical requirements, and regulatory compliance;
- Research and analyze technological advancements in the energy sector and recommend innovations for integration into infrastructure projects;
- Lead the preparation of business plans, feasibility studies, and financial analyses for energy projects;
- Coordinate the drafting of technical documentation, project proposals, and implementation reports;
- Ensure full compliance with national and EU regulations related to renewable energy and energy efficiency;
- Support tender preparation and contribute to the submission of technical and commercial offers;
- Monitor energy market trends and identify new business development opportunities;
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including designers, engineers, suppliers, and customers;
- Act as the primary on-site representative for clients and stakeholders to maintain smooth communication and operations;
- Organize internal training sessions and seminars to enhance team expertise in energy technologies;
- Supervise daily on-site activities to ensure effective and timely project progress;
- Manage Technical Managers and field teams (fitters, electricians, contractors, and subcontractors);
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, enforcing strict adherence to protocols;
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with technical and quality standards;
- Manage the allocation and use of site resources, including materials, equipment, and tools;
- Provide continuous updates to project managers regarding progress, risks, and corrective measures;
- Resolve on-site issues swiftly, including technical failures and personnel coordination challenges.
To do this as a professional, you should meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Power Systems, or related field;
- Hands-on experience with high-voltage (HV/MV) electrical systems;
- Background in performance analytics and reporting tools;
- Certification or training in asset management, reliability engineering, or CMMS platforms;
- Experience in managing large-scale solar installations is highly desirable;
- Familiarity with solar PV systems, mounting structures, and electrical components;
- Understanding of basic electrical systems and mechanical principles;
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings;
- Motivation and willingness to work with new technologies;
- Strong leadership and organizational skills;
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities;
- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
- Possibility for Business trips in the country and abroad;
- Proficiency in English.
