Associate Director - Energy Sector

As an Associate Director in our Energy and Natural Resources division you will play a critical leadership role in driving project delivery, business development, client relationship management and team development. You will work closely with senior management to identify key prospective Clients and develop a growth strategy on supporting these Client with delivery of the project portfolios.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the ENR sector, including proposal development and client presentations;
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships through quality of service delivery and responsiveness to client needs;
- Responsible for leading the development and delivery of complex projects/programmes;
- Accountable for defining, developing, interfacing, and delivering complex multi-package projects safely, while managing time, budget, quality, and key performance indicators to ensure successful completion;
- Take charge of executing the programme, successfully integrating multiple Contracts into a well-functioning, collaborative outcome;
- Manage, coach and inspire teams to ensure a high-quality of service delivery;
- Responsible for managing of commission development including framework negotiations, commission set up and financial control and reporting;
- Foster, sustain, and oversee strong relationships with internal key stakeholders, including government entities;
- Take ownership on commercial, and contractual matters, in close collaboration with commercial, procurement and legal departments.
Qualifications
- (MBA, Msc or equivalent) in Engineering discipline preferably with business or economic Specialisation;
- Chartered in a relevant profession/discipline;
- 15+ years experience in management consulting or a combination of consulting and industry experience in the energy and natural resources sector;
- Strong communication, negotiation and conflict management skills at management and operational levels;
- Deep knowledge of ENR sector dynamics, including regulatory frameworks, sustainability initiatives and digital solutions;
- Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated success in business development and account management;
- Willingness to travel when required within Ireland.
