The Program Manager Solar PV will lead the pan-European coordination and execution of our solar PV portfolio upgrade and expansion program. This role involves overseeing PV projects delivered by PV project managers, ensuring alignment with business goals, efficient delivery, and harmonization of PV standards and processes across Continental Europe (CE).

The successful candidate will define the annual PV roadmap and budget, manage the project pipeline, provide guidance to country teams, and act as the central escalation point for PV-related matters. The role also includes developing and embedding cross-border best practices, technical standards, and governance frameworks to ensure a consistent, future-proof PV portfolio.

More concretely, this means you will get the opportunity to:

Program Leadership & Planning

• Define and maintain the pan-European PV program roadmap, ensuring alignment with corporate sustainability and energy transition targets;
• Translate strategic objectives into yearly PV deployment and upgrade plans;
• Set program-level KPIs (capacity growth, portfolio optimization) and track progress against targets.

Project Oversight & Pipeline Management

• Oversee timely and successful delivery of multiple PV projects executed by PV project managers;
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of rooftop, ground-mounted, and hybrid PV projects in collaboration with execution team;
• Track and manage program budget, forecasts, and actuals in coordination with Investment Management/Analytics.

Governance & Escalation

• Act as the single point of escalation for all PV program issues (technical, regulatory, commercial);
• Ensure consistent reporting and transparent communication across internal and external stakeholders;
• Lead program steering committees and provide leadership with updates on PV deployment, KPIs, and milestones.

Standardization & Best Practices

• Develop, implement, and enforce technical and operational standards for PV design, construction, O&M, and monitoring;
• Drive harmonization of procurement strategies, system designs, and monitoring platforms across CE;
• Lead framework agreements and supplier management for key PV equipment and EPC partners;
• Foster continuous improvement and ensure lessons learned are captured and replicated across projects.

Market trends & regulation​

• Follow-up on market evolution regarding PV technology and solutions to ensure Goodman keeps up with best-in-class solutions​;
• Understand and collaborate with local colleagues on local regulations impacting the PV program roll-out​.

Stakeholder Management & Cross-Functional Alignment

• Collaborate closely with real estate, asset management, fund, finance, and sustainability teams to align PV program priorities with business needs and regulatory requirements;
• Build strong relationships with project managers, technical advisors, external partners and local teams;
• Ensure PV deployments contribute effectively to company-wide decarbonisation and cost reduction goals;
• Contribute toward collaboration across various energy upgrade initiatives to optimize implementation on sites (Power, EVCI, HVAC, BESS).

Do you recognize yourself?

• You have min. 5 years of experience in managing PV or renewable energy projects;
• You have experience building up and defending the business case of solar PV projects;
• You have technical expertise in PV systems design, installation, and maintenance;
• You have strong project management skills;
• You are able to oversee a broad portfolio of projects while ensuring the focus on strategic priorities;
• You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• You have a good knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations;
• You are proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
