Your Role
As Senior Sales Trader Biofuels, you will take ownership of developing and executing a results-driven, over the counter, brokering strategy. You will focus on building a strong client portfolio, managing relationships, and closing high-value deals. This role demands an independent, strategic thinker who excels in a competitive, target-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation: Execute a robust strategy to identify and qualify leads;
- Portfolio Development: Build and manage a portfolio of clients through phone, email, and face-to-face meetings, specializing in back-to-back brokerage;
- Strategic Execution: Develop and implement a winning market approach in both physical biofuels and certificates;
- Deal Closure: Leverage strong negotiation skills to effectively close deals, driving your own P&L book and consistently exceeding set targets;
- Market Expertise: You show strong expertise in market trends, regulatory changes, and geopolitical shifts;
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Biofuel Desk and other sales trader- and brokers to expand OTC Flow’s activities.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 3+ years in sales trading or brokering within the biofuel market, ideally at a leading global firm;
- Drive: Entrepreneurial, competitive, and motivated by success;
- Skills: Strong communicator and negotiator with a proven ability to close deals;
- Focus: Target-oriented and eager to outperform in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment;
- Expertise: In-depth knowledge of biofuel markets, including certificates and physical trading;
- Team player: Collaborative mindset, supporting team success while driving personal growth;
- Languages: Excellent English communication skills.
