About the role

We are looking for an experienced EACs Trader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience trading/brokering Energy Attribute Certificates (EACs), coupled with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong negotiation skills. In this role, you will identify and execute trading opportunities, expand our market presence, and contribute to the growth of our business.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and nurture relationships with market participants through direct prospecting via cold calling and networking;
• Manage your own client portfolio and serve as the primary point of contact for your clients;
• Negotiate and close deals with counterparties, ensuring compliance with market regulations;
• Monitor market trends, regulatory updates, and emerging opportunities in environmental commodities to identify and catch good trading opportunities;
• Work closely with internal teams to enhance trading processes and market intelligence.

About you

• You have proven experience in trading/brokering Energy Attribute Certificates (GOs, I-RECs, REGOs, etc.);
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify and act on market opportunities;
• Strong negotiation skills and a drive to close deals;
• Fluent in English; additional European language skills are an advantage;
• Analytical skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure;
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities;
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business.
