Your tasks

  • Develop and implement the BBS improvement strategy (e.g. project portfolio, business development, timeframe, funding, procedures, staffing performance management, implementation approach);
  • Establish continuous improvement approach, mindset and culture;
  • Introduce performance (e.g. reporting, KPIs) & services management (e.g. collaboration tools, workflows, communication);
  • Develop improvement project portfolio (implementation, reporting, risk management) and process improvement roadmap across processes in scope (e.g. RTR, OTC, PTP, DS);
  • Support and facilitate transition projects;
  • Analyze requirements with the project sponsor/customer, determines the strategy for the proposal, evaluates the feasibility;
  • Work closely with the BBS team, OPGS and Borealis stakeholder (process managers, business and function leads, decision makers);
  • Support the BBS process leads in continuous process development and improvement (incl. technology & related system landscape);
  • Implements measures to improve the standardization, optimization and automation of finance processes within served companies;
  • Coordinates and prepare internal activities for regular maintenance of procedures, training materials and processes description.

Your profile

  • Master Diploma: Finance/IT/Business;
  • Relevant professional experience: more than 7 years;
  • Extensive experience in project/program management – PM certified, ideally with multidisciplinary teams, preferably in international environment;
  • Understanding and experience with transformational methodologies and process management approaches (e.g. Six Sigma, Lean, Design Thinking etc.);
  • Process & digital savviness (e.g. ERP transformation, process improvement via RPA & AI, interested in trends & developments);
  • Solid understanding of all the core elements within finance processes and systems, solid knowledge of the interdependencies and can manage interfaces with other disciplines. (e.g. RTR, PTP, OTC, IT);
  • Exposure and understanding of related process / organization / technology landscape (in one of the functions / processes in scope);
  • Broad knowledge of Finance & Accounting processes;
  • Excellent in English, both spoken and written.
