ROLE AND LOCATION

We are strengthening our HV team with a Project Manager with proven experience in Electrical Substations, both onshore and offshore, covering different voltage levels (low, medium, high, and very high voltage - up to 400 kV).

The chosen candidate will be responsible for the overall management of projects, ensuring technical, financial, and contractual execution, from planning to final delivery to the customer.

DESCRIPTION OF TASKS

  • Manage the execution of Electrical Substation projects (EPC, commissioning, retrofit, or O&M);
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary technical teams and ensure the interface with customers, suppliers, and external entities;
  • Prepare and monitor project plans, schedules, and budgets;
  • Perform detailed budgeting for substations, including:
    • Equipment cost estimates (transformers, circuit breakers, GIS/AIS, relays, cabling, etc.);
    • Installation, commissioning, transportation, and logistics costs;
    • Assessment of indirect costs, margins, and project profitability;
    • Control and report costs, budget deviations, and performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Ensure compliance with technical standards (IEC, IEEE, EN) and HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) requirements;
  • Supervise installation, testing, trials, and energization activities;
  • Provide technical support for the development of new opportunities in the electricity and renewable energy sector.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy, or equivalent field;
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in substation project management (onshore and/or offshore);
  • Solid technical knowledge in:
    • High and Very High Voltage Systems (HV/MV/EHV) – up to 400 kV;
    • Protection, control, SCADA, and telecommunications;
    • Grounding and sectioning systems;
    • Commissioning and electrical testing (e.g., relays, transformers, GIS, AIS, control panels).
  • Experience in budgeting and financial control of electrical projects;
  • Fluency in English (mandatory), but other languages will be valued;
  • Availability for national and international travel;
  • Strong planning, leadership, and communication skills.
