Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) Advisor

This role is ideal for an entrepreneurial professional with deep experience in renewable energy Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) or related energy contracts who is excited about building and expanding a robust pipeline of corporate opportunities. You will work closely with STX’s trading, origination, sustainability advisory, and product teams to deliver tailored solutions and drive strategic growth with corporate clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead origination and structuring of renewable energy PPAs (corporate and utility-scale) and related long-term offtake agreements.
- Develop and manage a sales pipeline of qualified corporate PPA opportunities from lead generation through contract execution.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to corporate clients alongside the Strive corporate accounts team - understanding sustainability goals, energy needs, risk tolerance, and financial priorities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with trading, risk, legal, and sustainability advisory teams to design integrated client solutions that align with broader environmental commodity strategies.
- Conduct market and policy analysis to inform product development, client recommendations, and strategic positioning.
- Represent STX Group at industry events, client meetings, and strategic forums to build brand visibility and thought leadership.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge-sharing across the organization.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 3-5 years of experience in renewable energy PPAs, energy markets, structured sales, or energy/commodity origination.
- Proven track record of negotiating and closing PPA transactions or complex structured energy deals.
- Strong understanding of European power markets, renewable energy technologies, and corporate decarbonization challenges.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building pipelines, identifying new market opportunities, and growing STX’s role as a leader in renewable power.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills when engaging with senior corporate stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, globally distributed team.
