As a Sustainability Manager, you will take end-to-end responsibility for Westwing’s Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) operations. You will coordinate reporting, supplier documentation, and data flows across all EU and non-EU markets, working closely with our internal and external partners and stakeholders to ensure full compliance and audit readiness for packaging, plastic, and product-related obligations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Execute and manage EPR reporting and registrations across 30+ schemes and 100+ reporting streams, including direct submissions in PRO portals, with internal and external partners
  • Oversee and guide supplier and verification documentation, ensuring data accuracy across all product and packaging categories
  • Own and improve EPR data flows across internal and external software tools in close alignment with Tech teams
  • Prepare audit-ready documentation, coordinate reconciliations, manage evidence requests from authorities and PROs, and oversee EPR budget from strategic planning to cost controlling
  • Monitor regulatory changes (PPWR) and translate new obligations into concrete data and reporting processes

YOU COME WITH

  • 3+ years of proven experience in hands-on EPR operations or packaging compliance within a multi-country setup
  • Solid understanding of EU packaging rules, recyclability thresholds, and national reporting procedures
  • Strong data management and Excel/Business Intelligence skills, combined with a process-driven mindset
  • Experience liaising with suppliers, PROs, and authorities under tight deadlines
  • Project management experience combined with continuous risk management and decision-making, as well as strong communication skills across all levels and fluency in English (German considered an advantage)
