Environmental Certificates Operations Officer

Context
We are looking for an Environmental Certificates Operations Officer to join our Certificates Back-Office Team.
You will play a key role in the day-to-day management and post-trade operations of environmental certificate transactions, helping ensure smooth execution in a fast-moving sales and trading environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Administer and monitor registries for various certificates (GOs, CRM, CER, VER, EUA, etc.);
- Oversee the full post-trade cycle: validation, confirmation, and invoicing of transactions;
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with Front Office (Sales & Trading) and other support functions (Market Risk, Finance, etc.);
- Handle operational requests received through the team mailbox and ensure timely follow-up.
Hard Skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities;
- Solid knowledge of MS Office and information systems;
- Programming skills (VBA and/or other languages) are a strong plus.
Soft Skills
- Client-oriented mindset with frequent interactions across Sales, Trading, Market Risk, and Finance;
- Clear, confident communicator (both written and verbal);
- Proactive, able to take initiative and work independently;
- Resilient and comfortable working under pressure.
Education & Experience
- Master’s degree (Business, Finance, Economics, or Science);
- First experience in post-trade operations within a commercial or trading environment is a plus.
Languages
- English: fluent (mandatory);
- French, German or Dutch: a strong asset.
