Missions:

You will be involved into international projects for the company HydroThane in The Netherlands, part of the Water Treatment Group of Axens and your main activities will be:

• You coordinate with the process & technology manager (biological wastewater treatment plants and biogas desulphurization processes);
• You manage all coordination with the client EPC (detailed engineering team) in charge of civil guidelines, detailed piping, electrical and mechanical design. Leading the project engineering team and guaranteeing that all engineering documents are delivered on time and according to the engineering standards of the company;
• You bring technical support to colleagues and end-users when required;
• You lead team meetings with the integrated team beginning with project kick-off through project close;
• You identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate risk throughout the project life cycle;
• You serve as the primary interface with the customer on all matters involving contract execution coordinating with colleagues on resolution of contractual problems;
• You closely work with sales in the communication of any cost or scheduling adjustments due to change orders;
• You assure a timely closeout of completed projects to ensure that all obligations are satisfied, and program documentation is properly recorded;
• You participate in the project budget in consultation with sales and engineering;
• You monitor the overall project schedules and budgets of all projects under your responsibility and taking appropriate measures in case of deviations to meet the schedule and within budget;
• You monitor the quality, safety and other requirements set for the realization of the project;
• You check and ensure that the commissioning and start-up of the installation is coordinated and carried out as specified.

The position is based either in Rueil-Malmaison (France) or in the Netherlands.

Knowledge and Required Level:

• You have a degree in chemical/environmental engineering (Master of sciences or equivalent);
• You have a minimum of 10 years of experience within the field of project management in biological wastewater treatment of industrial effluents or Biogas;
• You are proficient in the English language (both spoken and written) - knowledge of other European languages are a big plus;
• Your practical skills with industrial installations are a plus;
• You communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders from varied cultural and technical backgrounds.
