Responsibilities

We are interested in hearing from candidates who have the following experience:

• Support in the area of environmental management / consultancy for regulated facilities;
• Prepare environmental regulatory applications and licence compliance reports;
• Prepare or input into Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (EIAR);
• Prepare and implement Environmental Management Plans and systems to ISO 14001 standards;
• Environmental Auditing and Inspections;
• Understand and apply current and proposed Environmental & Sustainability related legislation (Building and Planning regulations);
• Assist clients with sustainability objectives e.g. Circular Economy Adaptation, Climate Action Plans, Carbon Management and Sustainability master planning;
• Technical Report Writing.

Qualifications

• Qualification (Level 8) in Engineering/Environmental/Sustainability or related subject;
• Significant experience in the area of environmental management/consultancy for regulated facilities;
• Good knowledge and understanding of environmental/sustainability legislation and EU BAT/BREF;
• Working knowledge of LEED, BREEAM and/or NZEB desirable (but not essential);
• Experience with carbon consulting and assessment of renewable technologies desirable;
• Project management skills;
• Clear and confident communication skills.
