Mission
As Asset Nuclear Leader, you will drive the strategic development, coordination, and overarching operational execution of the Nuclear Asset, ensuring that strategic directions set at VP level translate into concrete initiatives, high‑quality delivery, and measurable business outcomes. In this role, you will lead multidisciplinary teams across engineering, certification, licensing, safety, decommissioning, digital, R&D, and commercial areas to ensure strong market positioning, regulatory credibility, and technical excellence in the evolving global nuclear sector.
Key Accountabilities
Strategic Execution & Governance:
- Translate the Nuclear Asset strategic vision into actionable programs, technology roadmaps, and structured development pipelines;
- Oversee governance of nuclear projects including new build, SMR/AMR development, fusion projects, plant life‑extension, fuel‑cycle services, decommissioning, and waste management programs;
- Continuously refine the nuclear roadmap using regulatory trends, geopolitical considerations, utility investment patterns, technology innovation and internal insights;
- Ensure compliance with international and national regulatory frameworks (IAEA, EUR, WENRA, national safety authorities).
Cross‑Functional Coordination:
- Coordinate multidisciplinary resources across nuclear engineering, systems design, safety assessment, licensing, risk analysis, decommissioning, cybersecurity, and sustainability;
- Facilitate integration of R&D outputs into commercial nuclear offerings;
- Drive structured collaboration with internal practice leads to ensure cohesive execution.
Market & Client Engagement:
- Engage with utilities, EPC contractors, vendors, technology developers, regulators, and international bodies to gather insight;
- Provide structured feedback to the VP regarding market dynamics, funding patterns, regulatory barriers, and areas of nuclear sector growth;
- Support early‑stage shaping of opportunities including feasibility assessments, licensing strategies, safety case development.
Opportunity Development & Commercial Support:
- Identify and develop opportunities across the nuclear lifecycle;
- Collaborate with commercial teams on go‑to‑market strategies;
- Support development of tailored value propositions such as independent SMR oversight or nuclear cyber‑resilience frameworks.
Project & Initiative Oversight:
- Oversee execution of nuclear projects ensuring compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality requirements;
- Coordinate internal experts, technical authorities, and external partners;
- Monitor project KPIs related to safety performance, schedule adherence, risk mitigation, and client satisfaction.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree;
- Master’s Degree in Nuclear Engineering or Energy Engineering.
Qualifications
- 8-12+ years of experience in the nuclear sector;
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate complex, multi‑stakeholder nuclear initiatives;
- Strong understanding of nuclear regulatory frameworks, safety culture principles, and technology trends;
- Experience engaging with regulators, utilities, EPCs, and vendors;
- Proven track record in leading multidisciplinary teams in high‑reliability sectors;
- Solid capabilities in budget management and performance improvement;
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
