Your Mission at Phlair
- Act as the technical bridge between R&D, external EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) partners, vendors, investors, and other stakeholders (e.g. providing technical support for due diligence activities).
- Deliver and manage consistent and concise technical requirements informed from internal R&D and pilot operations into engineering for the Demo and Commercial plants to meet techno-economical performance KPIs.
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering, EPC, and vendor teams to meet schedule, cost, safety, and performance targets.
- Translate pilot learnings into scalable, modular commercial plant designs and execution standards.
- Establish strong project structures: Increase documentation quality, establish effective technical reviews, set up schedules, milestones, risk mitigation strategies.
What You Bring to the Team
- Master’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering.
- ~3–10 years of experience in industrial/EPC/process plant projects (energy, chemical, gas, climate tech, or similar).
- Proven exposure to full project lifecycles (From FEED to commissioning), ideally from an Owner(-Operator) perspective.
- Strong ability to read and review PFDs, P&IDs, layouts, and technical deliverables.
- Experience with engineering & construction scheduling, procurement support, and technical bid evaluation.
- Familiarity with risk and safety reviews (e.g., HAZOP, FMEA, model and constructability reviews).
- Experience coordinating suppliers, EPC partners, and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Professional English required; German is a plus.
