This role support technical plan reviews and data verification related to environmental matters, involving IMO (International Maritime Organization) and European requirements and applicable standards.
Key Accountabilities
Emissions verification according to MARPOL Convention and other IMO-related requirements.
Emissions verification according to EU Directives and Regulations (e.g. MRV, ETS, Fuel-EU Maritime).
Carry out the approval of ship’s systems plans and certification according to pollution prevention requirements, in compliance with Class Rules and Statutory Regulations, for new buildings, ships in service, and ship’s conversions.
Support for type approval certifications according to tasks arrangement by the Manager.
Direct day-to-day support and communication with direct Manager.
Collaborate to manage projects assigned applying project management concepts and techniques.
Education
Master’s Degree in Naval Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
Qualifications
Knowledge of IMO Convention.
Knowledge of Basic concepts related to ship’s systems.
Knowledge of English language.
