About the Role

The Senior Originator is responsible for originating and executing value-accretive physical and financial energy transactions, with Sweden as the primary market focus, while advancing access to strategic counterparties across renewables and corporate energy demand in the wider Nordic. The role balances front-office deal leadership with a strong understanding of portfolio constraints and operational implications. It requires close collaboration across regions and functions to translate market opportunities into scalable, profitable structures.

• Originating, prioritising and negotiating generator PPAs, corporate PPAs, corporate supply agreements, OTC energy commodity contracts, BESS Optimisation agreements and green certificate agreements, primarily in Sweden, and selectively across Nordic markets, to maximise incremental NPV;
• Building and managing a Sweden-led, forward-looking deal pipeline aligned with regional market strategies and ambitious growth targets;
• Build a pipeline of deal opportunities within primarily in Sweden, and selectively across Nordic in accordance with the market strategy and across Flexible generation, generator PPAs, corporate PPAs, corporate supply agreements, OTC energy commodity contracts and green certificate agreements;
• Leading and coordinating cross-regional bids where the primary commercial scope sits within the relevant market domain;
• Optimising the existing portfolio through renegotiations, contract extensions, terminations and targeted risk profile adjustments;
• Actively contributing to external marketing and branding activity, including event participation, sponsorship decisions and speaker engagements.

About You

The ideal candidate brings strong commercial judgement and a deep understanding of renewable power markets, with proven expertise in Sweden and experience operating across multiple markets in the Nordic region. The role requires a proactive originator mindset with a strong appreciation of portfolio, risk and operational considerations. A collaborative approach is essential, alongside the ability to translate market signals into concrete commercial solutions.

• Extensive experience originating and executing renewable and corporate PPAs and structured energy transactions, with a strong track record in the Swedish market;
• Demonstrated expertise across multiple markets in the Nordic region, including the ability to compare regulatory frameworks, pricing dynamics and route-to-market models;
• Strong understanding of route-to-market operating models, energy value chains and non-standard transaction processing;
• Proven ability to develop and maintain senior relationships with generators, developers, investors, utilities, banks and corporate customers;
• Solid knowledge of electricity market frameworks, including grid codes, renewable policies, derivatives risk profiles and cash flow impacts;
• Demonstrated capability to work with portfolio management teams on risk capital, working capital, concentration and standardisation constraints.
