As part of the Portfolio Management team, the Renewable Energy Portfolio Specialist plays a key role in supporting the delivery and optimisation of Energy Attribute Certificate (EAC) portfolios across global renewable energy markets.
The role sits at the intersection of trading, sales, and operations, ensuring the accurate execution and administration of EAC transactions, while supporting the development of scalable, high-quality solutions for corporate clients.
You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to manage certificate flows, support commercial activities, and maintain robust processes across registries and systems. This role requires a strong combination of technical understanding, operational discipline, and proactive communication in a fast-paced, evolving market environment.

Main tasks & responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Projects Team to optimise the delivery of certificates - Coordinate the offering of the EACs towards our Sales team;
Advise clients and our key account management team on EACs and reporting standards globally;
Provide information about products, projects and processes to clients and staff to support sales and marketing activities;
Support strengthening and improving our EAC offering, by understanding market dynamics and new market developments;
Oversee the administrative system of Energy Attribute Certificates (EACs);
This includes coordinating the purchase contracts, managing incoming deliveries in coordination with the registries team and Sales support team;
Manage and enhance systems for project information capture, storage and internal dissemination;
Ability to conduct research tasks, analyse and summarise data.
Essential Requirements:
Strong understanding of renewable energy markets, ideally with exposure to Energy Attribute Certificates (EACs) such as Guarantees of Origin (GOs), I-RECs or similar instruments;
Experience working in a commercial, trading, or portfolio management environment;
Ability to manage multiple workflows simultaneously, with strong organisational and prioritisation skills;
High attention to detail, particularly in managing transactional or registry-based processes;
Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders;
Collaborative mindset with a focus on team support, constructive communication, and professional stakeholder management.
Desired Requirements:
Direct experience with EAC registries (e.g. AIB, I-REC, TIGRs, national registries);
Experience supporting commercial transactions or contract execution in environmental commodities or energy markets;
Familiarity with reporting standards such as GHG Protocol, RE100, CDP or similar;
Process improvement mindset, with experience identifying inefficiencies and implementing better ways of working.
