This role plays a critical part in the successful delivery of complex, large‑scale energy infrastructure projects, managing multiple stakeholders and ensuring excellence across the full project lifecycle.

Your role will encompass:

  • Participating in meetings with clients and subcontractors to align project objectives, scope, and expectations.
  • Developing and implementing comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, risk management, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinating and collaborating with cross‑functional teams including engineering, procurement, construction, and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
  • Monitoring project progress, identifying potential risks, and implementing effective mitigation strategies to ensure timely and high‑quality delivery.
  • Managing project budgets and ensuring adherence to financial constraints and internal governance requirements.
  • Regularly reporting project status, milestones, risks, and performance to senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and vendors, establishing and maintaining strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Engaging with stakeholders to gather project requirements, resolve conflicts, and ensure project objectives are met in line with METLEN standards.

What you bring to the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • 10+ years of relevant project management experience, preferably within the energy sector.
  • Proven experience managing multiple energy‑related projects in parallel.
  • Previous experience in project management on Power Plant projects (Thermal and/or HVDC preferred).
  • Strong capability to work independently while effectively managing teams, interfaces, and budgets.
  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve outstanding results.
  • Fluency in English; an additional European language is considered an advantage.
  • International work experience.
  • MSc and/or MBA will be considered an asset.
