Eurowind Energy is looking for an experienced Project Manager to manage construction of energy projects within technologies such as wind, solar and Battery storage. You'll manage projects from permission through EPC to ‘handover’ to Operations.
Your role
As Project Manager, you'll be overall responsible for your construction project(-s). The role covers responsibilities such as managing, stakeholder expectations, costs, schedule, project monitoring and control, reporting and the project team during the projects’ EPC phase.
The position is also responsible for organizing work on construction sites, making sure it’s completed safely, on time and within budget. You’ll liaise with designers, surveyors and contractors to ensure the project is on track.
Your key responsibilities
Project Delivery & Execution:
Lead project delivery from construction start through commissioning and handover;
Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities.
Planning, Scheduling and Controls:
Develop WBS, master schedule, milestones and look-ahead plans;
Monitor progress and implement corrective actions.
Cost Control and Commercial Management:
Manage project budget, forecast and cost deviations;
Manage variations, claims and contract compliance.
Contractor and Site Management:
Coordinate contractors across civil, electrical and HV works;
Resolve site issues and ensure proper sequencing.
Stakeholder and Authority Management:
Interface with authorities, TSOs/DSOs and stakeholders;
Ensure regulatory and permit compliance.
HSEQ:
Ensure compliance with HSE and quality requirements.
Risk and Reporting:
Maintain risk register and issue logs;
Provide regular reporting to management.
Commissioning and Handover:
Lead commissioning and energisation;
Ensure successful handover to Asset Management.
Your qualifications
We are seeking an experienced candidate who has worked with the construction of energy plants or process installations. The ideal candidate should possess an engineering background or equivalent technical experience within the industry and possess several of the competencies below:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering. Master’s degree in Engineering is a plus;
5+ years of project management experience;
Experience in renewable energy or infrastructure projects;
Structured approach to project management, effectively managing risks, and delivering projects on time and within budget;
Experienced in Project and contract management;
Thorough understanding and implementation of projects in accordance with contracts;
Proficient in English;
Competent in MS Office.
