Design, execute, and refine proprietary trading strategies that drive consistent profitability within our internal risk frameworks;
Trade short- and long-term contracts across the CWE region, specifically focusing on France, Germany, and beyond, powered by your own market view;
Capture cross-commodity opportunities in Gas, Coal, COâ‚‚, and Power spreads by using options expertise to turn volatility into value and actively manage flexibility;
Navigate major exchanges—EEX, EPEX SPOT, Nord Pool, GME, OTE, PXE, and HUPX—with precision and creativity;
Participate in cross-border auctions and power tenders, turning volatility into opportunity.
What you bring & who you are:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in European Power trading, with at least 4 years of proven success specifically within the CWE markets. Disciplined drawdown management;
Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the European energy transition, including renewables penetration, thermal merit orders, and cross-border flow dynamics;
Academic Background: A Master’s degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Economics, or a related quantitative field;
Personal Attributes/Mindset: A genuinely entrepreneurial mindset—you think in risk-reward, not job descriptions. Composure under pressure, fluent analytics, and strategic agility;
Technical Skills: Strong quantitative mindset. Proficiency in Python or SQL is highly preferred for data analysis and back-testing strategies;
Languages: English is a must; German, French, or Italian is a welcomed advantage.
