What will your missions and responsibilities be?

Reporting to the Engineering Department, you will be responsible for the design, sizing, and optimization of pressure vessels and heat exchangers, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, applicable design codes, and current regulations.

As such, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Performing mechanical and thermal calculations for equipment in accordance with applicable codes and standards (CODAP, ASME, RCC-M, EN13445).
  • Carrying out finite element analyses (FEA) and seismic qualification calculations.
  • Preparing and validating calculation reports and associated technical documentation.
  • Participating in the selection of materials, manufacturing processes, and technical solutions.
  • Reviewing manufacturing drawings and acting as the technical interface with clients, suppliers, and inspection bodies.
  • Supporting project teams throughout the entire equipment lifecycle, from preliminary design through to manufacturing.

What profile and skills are required?

  • Higher education degree in Mechanical Engineering, Pressure Vessel Design, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
  • Significant experience in the calculation and design of pressure vessels and/or heat exchangers.
  • Strong knowledge of CODAP, ASME, RCC-M design codes and finite element analysis methodologies.
  • Knowledge of thermal calculations and seismic analyses would be an advantage.
  • Proficiency in ANSYS and SolidWorks is essential.
  • Operational technical English.
  • Previous experience in the nuclear industry would be a strong asset.
