Support the implementation of BIAL's Sustainability Strategy by combining environmental management expertise with ESG capabilities, ensuring compliance with applicable environmental legislation while contributing to ESG reporting, sustainability performance and strategic sustainability initiatives across the Group.

The Impact You’ll Make

ESG & Sustainability

  • Support the implementation of BIAL's Sustainability Strategy and Sustainability Policy across the Group;
  • Support the preparation of the Sustainability Report and other ESG disclosures (e.g. CSRD, ESRS and other applicable reporting frameworks);
  • Coordinate ESG data collection and ensure the quality, consistency and integrity of sustainability information;
  • Develop, monitor and analyse ESG KPIs and sustainability performance indicators;
  • Monitor ESG regulatory developments and assess their impact on the organisation;
  • Support climate change, including Corporate Carbon Footprint (CCF) and Product Carbon Footprint (PCF);
  • Develop and support the implementation of Circular Economy initiatives across the organisation;
  • Contribute to the identification and assessment of sustainability-related risks, impacts and opportunities;
  • Coordinate and participate in cross-functional sustainability projects involving different business areas;
  • Promote sustainability awareness and employee engagement initiatives across the organisation.

Environmental Management

  • Elaborate, implement and monitor the Environmental Management Programme, ensuring alignment with legal requirements and internal standards;
  • Plan and conduct internal environmental audits and support external certification audits, ensuring the implementation and follow-up of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA);
  • Monitor environmental performance indicators and identify continuous improvement opportunities;
  • Ensure compliance with the Environmental Management System (ISO 14001) and applicable environmental legislation;
  • Promote environmental training and awareness across the organization.

What You’ll Bring

  • Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Sustainability or a related field;
  • Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in Sustainability and/or Environmental Management;
  • Proven experience in ESG reporting frameworks (CSRD, ESRS, GRI or equivalent);
  • Experience coordinating ESG data collection, KPI development and sustainability reporting;
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken);
  • Proficiency in Environmental Legislation and ISO 14001 standard;
  • Knowledge of climate change, carbon footprint methodologies and Circular Economy principles and regulations;
  • Experience with sustainability reporting tools and digital ESG platforms would be considered an advantage;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills;
  • Proactive mindset with continuous improvement orientation.
