Your Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for the fiduciary risk management, monitoring and reporting of the company's clean energy activities (such as power generation by wind, solar/pv and hydro but also BESS and other investments supporting the energy transition) both on asset and fund level, throughout the entire lifecycle of a product/investment.
  • Interact with the Investment as well as Fund Management teams as business function as well as other relevant control functions within the company as appropriate.
  • Ensure the timely preparation of separate risk statements by the I&FRM CE team within the investment process based on independent analysis and risk assessment.
  • Present decisions of risk management in the Investment Committee or other panels upon request.
  • Prepare fund risk reports on a regular basis for senior management and supervisory board.

Your Profile:

  • Degree level qualification (or equivalent) ideally in Business Administration, Finance, Law or Risk Management (or similar).
  • Min. of 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in an AIFM, asset management company or bank.
  • Proficient understanding of the specific renewable energy asset classes and good knowledge of the overall energy transition market.
  • Good knowledge of how to assess chances and risks in relation to real asset investments.
  • Be familiar with regulatory environment for investment funds & firms as well as relevant European regulation such as UCITS and AIFMD.
  • Strong analytical skills and keen perception.
  • Proficient verbal and written English is mandatory, other languages such as Spanish or Italian are an advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Well organized, with attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously and deal with a busy workload.
  • High level of initiative, independence and excellent organisational skills with a collaborative mindset.
  • Strong MS Office skills.
