YOUR PROFILE

• University degree in business, engineering, or equivalent.
• Strong project experience in plant engineering (Anlagenbau) and complex capital projects.
• Six Sigma Green-/Blackbelt beneficial.
• Several years of experience in supply chain management, ideally in an international industrial environment.
• Expertise in demand planning, procurement, logistics, and supplier management.
• Strategic thinking and ability to align supply chain with business objectives.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent English skills; German and additional languages are an advantage.
• Proficiency in SAP and common SCM tools.
• Willingness to travel (40%).

YOUR TASKS

• Develop and implement with your business partners and your team members effective and efficient supply chain strategies for complex capital projects and divisional portfolios.
• Ensure material availability and on-time delivery across all project phases.
• Manage supplier relationships and risk throughout the supply chain.
• Collaborate closely and pro-active with project management, engineering, and global SCM structures.
• Drive strategic sourcing, bundling initiatives, and continuous improvement.
• Implement ESG requirements and ensure compliance within the supply chain.
• Oversee contract negotiations and claim management in coordination with Legal and project teams.
• Drive digitalization and automation across supply chain processes to improve transparency, efficiency, and data-driven decision-making.
• Promote harmonization of supply chain processes across divisions and projects to ensure consistency and scalability.
• Implement international best practices in strategic sourcing, supplier risk management, and KPI-driven performance monitoring.
• Benchmark supply chain performance against global standards to identify improvement opportunities and ensure operational excellence.
• Support the development of resilient and agile supply networks capable of responding to global disruptions and market dynamics.
• Act as interface between the procurement department and the division.
