Job purpose

As Group Sustainable Procurement officer, your main objective is to implement and continuously improve the Sustainable Procurement policy across the Group, aiming to integrate environment, human rights, health & safety, fundamental freedom, business integrity and inclusion & diversity considerations in the relationships with our suppliers.

Working with several other stakeholders (CPOs and Procurement community, Group Sustainability, Group Legal, Group HR and Digital Sustainability), you will support local entities for the implementation of policy and ensure their reporting.

Main missions

Your responsibilities include:

  • ESG Guidelines:
    • Deploy and monitor the ESG Guidelines across 20+ entities animating the procurement community to ensure their improvement (e.g., inclusion of CR Criteria in RFPs, EcoVadis assessment, negotiations on CR Clause):
    • Regularly update the ESG Guidelines based on a continuously improvement mindset (e.g., feedback from entities and legal department, monitoring of best market practices).
  • Inclusive Procurement:
    • Animate the CPO community to ensure that they define a realistic roadmap with their teams enabling them to reach the Group inclusive procurement spend target;
    • Provide tools and methodology to entities to support them to increase their inclusive procurement spend;
    • Share progress regularly with the HR group and use their sponsorship to support the procurement community on this project.
  • Community Management (around 130 members so far):
    • Manage and support the online community (prepare community calls, support the community on ad hoc requests);
    • Onboard new and missing entities;
    • Support AXA Digital Sustainability initiatives linked to Sustainable Procurement;
    • Prepare and co-animate Responsible Procurement Awareness sessions for Group and GO Procurement teams.
  • Reporting:
    • Collect and consolidate KPIs for the Annual Report, DJSI evaluation and CSRD (incl. the measure of Group’s supply chain Carbon footprint);
    • Update the Annual Report and the AXA Group Standards sent to CEOs to share the improvement of suppliers’ vigilance plan.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with the following experience and skills:

Experience:

  • 5+ years of professional experience required;
  • Has led large-scale, strategic transformation plans;
  • Practical experience in sustainability or strong desire to learn in this field and has demonstrated an ability to learn quickly;
  • [Nice to have] Experience in ESG procurement and change management;
  • [Nice to have] Experience working in an international environment;
  • [Nice to have] Experience in community management.

Technical skills:

  • Analytical skills and ability to summarize & communicate with impact on complex topics;
  • Able to think strategically and challenge the status quo;
  • English - Fluent in speaking and writing.

Soft skills/transversal skills:

  • Ability to deal with very different stakeholders: From Top-management to operational teams;
  • Ability to see the big picture to solve problems, prioritize issues;
  • Interest in environmental, health and safety and human rights topics;
  • Flexibility and organizational skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.
